Maternity Cover Housekeeper – Windsor, Berkshire (SL4)
Start Date: December 2025
Contract Length: 9–12 months (maternity cover)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–2:00pm (32.5 hours per week)
Salary: £20 gross per hour
About the Family
This is a warm and well-organised household in Windsor, home to a family of five with three young children and a very sweet miniature dachshund. Their much-loved Housekeeper/PA is heading off on maternity leave in early 2026 and will provide a thorough handover before she goes.
The family is kind, down-to-earth, and values those who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a happy home.
About the Role
This is a purely housekeeping-focused role, as the family will have a separate PA in place to support with errands and admin. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the home to a high standard—keeping everything clean, tidy, and well organised. Daily tasks will include general cleaning, laundry and ironing, and keeping on top of household organisation.
You’ll also feed and walk the family’s little dog, and you’ll need to be comfortable around children, as the house is a busy and family-oriented one.
From September 2026, the family will be relocating to RG7 and would love the same person to stay on through the full contract. They’ll provide plenty of notice and support to ease the transition.
