Part-Time Housekeeper / Nanny for Friendly Family Near Salisbury, Wiltshire

About the Family
This is a warm and down-to-earth family based just outside Salisbury, living in a spacious 7-bedroom home with a separate 1-bedroom annexe. They have two lovely boys aged 7 and 4, and a friendly family dog who is very much part of daily life.
The household is relaxed but well-run, and they are looking for someone who can bring organisation, calm, and a sense of ease to the home. They value kindness, initiative, and someone who genuinely enjoys creating a comfortable and happy environment.
Role Responsibilities
This is a varied role combining housekeeping and light childcare. The majority of your time will be spent keeping the home running smoothly, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organised and tidy environment. You’ll also support in the kitchen with food preparation, heating meals, and helping make family mealtimes feel easy and well-managed.
Once a week, you’ll take on a more hands-on childcare role, collecting the boys from school and supporting with the evening routine, including dinner, bath time, and settling them for bed. The family would value someone who is confident, caring, and able to step in naturally when needed, while the primary focus remains on the home.
You’ll also help care for the family dog, including walks, feeding, and occasional trips to and from the groomers. There may be some light errand running locally as part of the role.
Additional hours may be available during school holidays.
