Long-Term Nanny/Housekeeper Opportunity in Henley-on-Thames

Hours: 2 days per week, 9:00am–5:00pm (flexibility on days)
Salary: Up to £25 gross per hour (depending on experience)
About the Family
A lovely young family based in Henley-on-Thames are looking for a reliable and hands-on Nanny / Housekeeper to support them two days per week. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who would enjoy building a strong relationship with the family and becoming a valued part of their home as their needs grow and evolve.
The family are looking for someone with a gentle and caring nature who is happy to turn their hand to whatever is needed. They value kindness, flexibility and a positive attitude, and would love to find someone who enjoys helping a busy family home run smoothly.
Role Responsibilities
This is a varied role combining childcare and light housekeeping. You will provide care and support for the children, helping to create a happy and engaging environment while assisting with their daily routines. Alongside childcare, you'll help with the day-to-day running of the household, including light cleaning, tidying, children's laundry, keeping family areas organised and ensuring the home remains well-presented and welcoming.
The family would also be delighted to find someone who enjoys cooking. Experience preparing healthy family meals or batch cooking would be a huge advantage, although this is very much a bonus rather than a requirement. This role would suit someone who is naturally proactive, enjoys being helpful and takes pride in supporting both the children and the home.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous nanny, childcare or nanny-housekeeper experience
- Organised, proactive and willing to muck in when needed
- Looking for a long-term role with a family
- Full Driving Licence and own vehicle is essential
