Live-In Mother’s Help for a Busy and Animal-Loving Hampshire Family

About the Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for an energetic and down-to-earth Mother’s Help or Nanny to join a warm, informal family on a beautiful 17-bedroom estate in Hampshire. The role is varied, hands-on, and suited to someone who’s just as happy helping with school runs as they are walking the dogs or cheering on the sidelines at a sports match.
This is very much a team environment – the family are around and involved day to day, and they’re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is naturally helpful, and happy to muck in. With two active children and plenty going on, the right person will be adaptable, outdoorsy, and confident working alongside others.
Your days will include helping with the children’s routines – breakfast time, after-school snacks, managing sports kits and wardrobes – plus a mix of pet care (dogs, rabbit, and a fish tank), errands, and liaising with the head housekeeper to keep breakfast items and healthy snacks stocked. There are no deep-cleaning duties, as the home has a full housekeeping team, but a general eye for tidiness and willingness to help with laundry and organising is appreciated.
There’s some travel to the family’s other homes in London and Cornwall a few times a year, and flexibility is key – while plenty of notice is usually given, plans can shift, so someone who’s happy to go with the flow is ideal. You’ll also have full access to the estate’s amenities, including the pool and gym.
