Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00 am – 6.00 pm
About the Family
This is a warm and welcoming household in Notting Hill, made up of a couple and their adult son who is currently living at home while studying. The family leads a busy but relaxed lifestyle and is looking for a kind, experienced, and detail-oriented live-in housekeeper to support the smooth running of their beautiful five-storey home.
The atmosphere at home is friendly and respectful, and they’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys their work and is looking for a long-term role. There are no pets in the household.
Role Responsibilities
The housekeeper will take full responsibility for the daily upkeep of this elegant 4-bedroom home, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard throughout. This includes thorough cleaning, polishing, table setting, and care of delicate surfaces such as antiques, artwork, and silver.
Laundry and wardrobe care are an important part of the role, including ironing, managing seasonal wardrobe changes, and packing/unpacking for travel. The housekeeper will also liaise with contractors and tradespeople as needed, keeping on top of household tasks and maintenance.
Travel flexibility is a bonus – the family has a home in Siena, Italy and would love their housekeeper to join them for a few weeks during the summer.
