Live-in Domestic Couple for Private Estate near Henley-on-Thames

Working Hours: 45 hours per week each, worked over 5 days, including 1 weekend day
Salary: £90,000 joint salary (flexible for the right couple)
Accommodation: Two-bedroom flat located just outside the estate
About the Family
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Domestic Couple to join a beautiful private estate in Fawley, near Henley-on-Thames. This is a long-term opportunity for a couple who enjoy working together to keep a household and estate running smoothly to an exceptional standard.
The principals are looking for a trustworthy, hands-on couple who can work independently, take pride in their work, and confidently manage day-to-day responsibilities while maintaining a warm and welcoming home. When the family are away, you'll be trusted to oversee the property and ensure everything continues to run seamlessly.
The Role
One half of the couple will take responsibility for the housekeeping, ensuring the five-bedroom family home and estate office are beautifully maintained. Alongside cleaning and organisation, you'll prepare wholesome family-style meals, assist with meal preparation and batch cooking, help with errands and driving when needed, and care for the family's dogs, including regular walks. A proactive approach and an eye for detail are key, with someone who naturally enjoys creating a calm, well-run home.
The second role focuses on estate maintenance and property management. You'll oversee the upkeep of the main residence as well as several holiday let properties, coordinating contractors, arranging repairs and ensuring everything is maintained to a high standard. You'll also provide chauffeur duties for the principals, take care of vehicle maintenance and presentation, and offer occasional practical assistance on the family farm when required.
Together, you'll also care for the family's dogs, including sitting for them while the principals are away, and work collaboratively to ensure the estate remains secure, organised and running efficiently at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in working together within a private household or estate
- Confident in both housekeeping and practical property maintenance
- Both confident drivers with clean driving licences
- Proactive, organised, discreet and able to work independently
- Looking for a long-term role where they can become a valued part of the estate
